The candle lighting is a cherished BPW tradition, symbolising the unity and strength of women across the movement worldwide. It reminds us that, wherever we are, we share a commitment to supporting one another and creating opportunities for women to grow and lead.

The evening also marked a new chapter in our leadership. We warmly welcomed the incoming Executive Committee and look forward to the ideas, energy and dedication they will bring to the year ahead. At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing committee for the time, care and service they have given to our community. Their contributions have laid a foundation for the work ahead.

As we begin the new year together, we do so with gratitude for those who have led, encouragement for those stepping forward, and appreciation for the friendships that make BPW special.
